There are 16 parks to explore in Plymouth, the most popular is Kellogg Park in the heart of downtown Plymouth. When you grow tired of exploring, stop and rest near the bubbling Kellogg Fountain. From here, enjoy the view of Plymouth’s pleasantly old-fashioned city center. This area feels like it came straight out of a Hallmark movie. It’s the prime location for several annual events like the Ice Festival, 4th of July Fireworks and Music in the Park. Restaurants, Breweries and Speakeasy:

Arbor Brewing Company and The Ebenezer are two great spots. Arbor Brewing Co. is located next to Kellogg Park, and is equipped with an outdoor patio to enjoy during summer. The Ebenezer is a former bank turned speakeasy with a unique menu of specialty cocktails. The original vault to the bank is still in the building!

Some great restaurants in Plymouth are Karl’s Cabin, a 76-year-old historic log cabin restaurant that serves classic home cooking. Another is The Sardine Room which is a stylish bistro that makes delicious happy hour food, a raw bar with fresh oysters and seafood, and well-prepared cocktails. French Toast Bistro is indeed the place to go for southern style comfort food. Here you can enjoy French and Bayou cuisine all made from scratch!

Notable Neighborhoods:

Colony Farms: This neighborhood is especially loved for its convenient location. It’s very close to freeways, and within biking distance of downtown Plymouth. It’s located near McClumpha Park, and the neighborhood is easily spotted by its big red barn that’s been converted into a meeting house for neighborhood use. The Colony Farm Park Association even offers free nature walks and birding events to the public. Nature bluffs will love this neighborhood!

Country Club Village of Plymouth: Wetlands, walking paths and wooded areas surround the homes in the area. There’s a community center which offers a community pool, tennis courts and other recreational activities making this a great place to live for those with kids or enjoy living it up outside.
